Explore God’s Plan for Church Planting in an Online Learning CommunityD eveloping a Biblical Church Planting Strategy is the first module in a series of five. All are free. Go with us through the material from a church planter's manual that has been in use for about 10 years in South America, India, and Southeast Asia (presently translated into about 20 languages). The manual typically takes just over a year to go through at the pace of one lesson per week, and takes about 4 to 6 hours of course interaction and study in your bible per week for each module. The entire program is 61 weeks of research and discussion (doing one module at a time, one lesson per week) that are broken into five modules that run from 9 weeks to 17 weeks.In use for over a decade by indigenous church planters in Asia and South America, the Church Planter's Manual explores Paul's biblical example of laying the foundation and establishing growing communities of believers. You will open the bible and let God show you what He has to say about churches. Topics include church expansion, leadership development, the ordered church, and family roles. Developing a Biblical Church Planting StrategyParts 1 & 2 & 6 (17 lessons/weeks) As the church unfolds in Acts, explore the key church planting principles and the key elements of Paul's missionary strategy. From there, develop and refine a personal church planting strategy for your field. By the end of the course, you will have a detailed process plan that applies the timeless, supracultural principles of the church, to your situation. B. Establishing Young Churches In this module, by carefully following the practices of Paul and his coworkers, you will develop a biblical model of leadership. By surveying Paul's letters in historical order, you will learn to address the specific, real life issues that are important in establishing young churches. II. Restoring Order in Troubled Churches A: Setting Church Families in Order (9 weeks) Develop a biblical understanding of the family and their complementary roles. Since the church is a family of families, order in the church flows from order in the family. B. Setting the Church Family in Order (9 weeks) With families in order, you can move into developing the household order of the church. Explore the structure of the church and the functions of the seven biblical, complementary roles in the church family. C. Key Issues that Challenge the Church Family Order (13 Weeks) Issues arise and the church planter needs to help established churches find and follow God's patterns and practices. From dealing with sin, liberty, the world, and community life, to giving, assembly meetings, conflicts, gifts, questionable things, and more, the church will find it is important to follow God's ways to do God's work. You do not need to purchase the manual to take the course online, but it is recommended. The same manual is used in all of the Church Planter Training course modules. You will only need the one manual no matter how many modules you choose to take. If you cannot afford one, we will gladly send you one free. The manual is a write-in workbook that will give you a hard-copy that contains all of your notes and research as you go through the study.
