Online Learning Community Instructor Facilitated Research & Discussion
We've had three groups and one church use the online learning community in 2009. Courses run from 9 to 17 weeks, and involve bible reading assignments, observations, forum interactions and discussions, and a qweekly tokbox video conference.
In 2010, we will be adding self-paced training that focuses on single issues.

This will be my second time going through going through the "God's Plan For Church Planting" manual and I must say, it gets better and better! Why? Is it the manual itself? No, It is the effectiveness and simplicity of the material pointing the reader back to the scripture and focusing on the early church - how it started, how it grew, structure, family, how to handle discipline, leadership.......but most importantly, how these supra-cultural, timeless principles mesh with any culture and work effectively today. This will for sure change the way you approach church planting! It might turn you upside down! It certainly has for a lot of people I know who have gone through it.
What is most exciting is to not only see how this is spreading overseas - specifically in SouthEast Asia and India, but how it is starting to spread here in the US.
